The route to your driver's license

Nowadays you can start driving lessons from the age of 16 and a half. And - if you have passed your theory - you can take your practical exam from the age of 17. To avoid delays, it's best to start your theory as soon as you start driving lessons. A very pleasant way to learn your theory is with the PlanGo student app (can also just be done on your laptop or desk top).

Do you already have a driving license, but want to gain additional driving experience? Then a refresher course might be something for you.

You can take driving lessons with me in both Dutch and English.

Conveniently via the PlanGo learner app

Before you can take your practical exam, you must have passed your theory. A nice and relaxed way to learn your theory is with the PlanGo student app. No fiddling with a book, but easily read small chapters and watch videos on your phone, tablet or laptop. Super handy, because the complete theory training is in the app.

The theory material consists of short parts and in just a few minutes you will have already covered a part. Also handy to make good use of your time on the road or during a break, for example. The app contains quite a few partial tests, with which you can check whether you have understood the theory. You will immediately see whether your answer is correct or incorrect and if you answer incorrectly you will see the explanation again. Furthermore, the app contains a series of complete exams, exactly as they look at the CBR. Maximum preparation for the CBR theory exam!

Driving lessons in steps

Higher success rate!

At my driving school you can follow the official by the CBR developed "Rijopleiding In Stappen (RIS)", meaning "Driver training in steps" (DTiS)

Using the scripts in the DTiS practice book, you learn to drive in four modules step by step: first the operation and control of the car, then the introduction to simple traffic situations and finally the more complex traffic situations. So with the practice book, you prepare yourself a little bit each time for your driving lessons and you can develop a little faster.

Parallel to the practice book, your instructor will keep a progress chart. Before your driving lesson begins, it reviews which scripts were covered last time and to what degree you have mastered them. And at the end of the driving lesson, the new progress is then updated again on the chart.

The step-by-step structure of the DTiS provides a lot of calm and overview and is for that reason highly appreciated. Another advantage is that if you prepare yourself for your driving lesson, your instructor will have to explain a little less to you and you will therefore spend less time standing still. So that leaves you with more time to drive. And because most students with the DTiS grow a little faster in their confidence, the success rate is also significantly higher. Up to 20%!

Practical lessons without the Driver training in Steps book

If you are someone who is not so keen on preparing for driving lessons with a textbook, then of course you can just take driving lessons the traditional way. So without a textbook, and then with a little more time for explanations.... Even with the regular B course, of course, a targeted and professional program is offered.

Refresher course

Been holding your driver's license for years, but still stress when you take the car on the road? Then I would love to help you overcome your fear. You will feel a whole lot more confident with just a few driving lessons.

Whether it's reverse parking, merging onto the highway, crossing busy intersections, or dealing with that oncoming car in narrow streets, or whatever it is that makes you start sweating all over, it really is possible to get rid of your insecurities with just a few driving lessons..

After a short chat about how you experience driving in general, we do a diagnostic drive and you are “tested” on some essential points. The first feedback and immediately afterwards the first explanation and demo will already give you more insight into how things should be done. Then you will, of course with full assistance from me, get to work and you will notice that in no time you will find it all a lot less exciting. And after a few lessons of hard practice with the right instructions, you'll even start to enjoy it. How cool would that be, that after a few times you can say “I did it and I even enjoyed it!
